Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari Receive Nine Nominations in USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards 

SANTA CLAUS, IND. – Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari have received nine nominations across six categories in USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. These prestigious nominations, selected by a panel of editors and industry experts, highlight what fans love about the family-owned and operated theme park.
The park is competing for votes in the following categories:
Best Theme Park – Holiday World
Best Outdoor Water Park – Splashin’ Safari
Best Water Coaster – Cheetah Chase, Mammoth, Wildebeest
Best Roller Coaster – The Voyage
Best Lazy River – Bahari River
Best Wave Pool – Bahari Wave Pool, The Wave

Voting for USA TODAY 10Best Awards began Monday, March 23 and runs until Monday, April 20 at 11:59 a.m. EDT. The top 10 winners in each category, as determined by reader votes, will be announced on Wednesday, April 29.
Holiday World opens for its 80th season in May. To celebrate the park’s milestone birthday, the operating calendar has been expanded and several fan-favorite events and entertainment offerings will return, including the Holidays in the Sky drone show, the Nerveless Nocks stunt show, Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival, and Dino Corn Maze Adventure. Park officials plan to announce a brand new event in the coming weeks.
