Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari rides don’t shut down due to rain alone, but sometimes severe weather causes us to pause the fun. But your holiday isn’t over! When our major attractions close for 90 minutes or longer, our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee is activated, allowing you another day of fun this season.

Worry-Free Weather Guarantee Details

Our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee is activated when weather closes a portion of our attractions for a period of 90 minutes on the day of your visit, or at the discretion of park management. The Guarantee is only valid for Guests whose tickets were scanned on the dates listed below.

 

Just be sure to keep your ticket!

Just to be sure, always keep a copy of your ticket–a photo of a ticket or a screengrab will work as well. You’ll need to bring it to Guest Relations if the Worry-Free Weather Guarantee is activated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bring your eligible ticket, photo, or screengrab to Guest Relations any day we’re open to the public, and we’ll reactivate the ticket that day!

We’ll update this list and add dates as soon as a decision is made regarding whether a date is considered eligible for our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee. You can reach out to us by phone at 812-937-4401 if you have any questions.

The Worry-Free Weather Guarantee only applies to tickets that were scanned on the date listed. If you have a Pick Your Date ticket, and you don’t scan it on that day, we can change the ticket at Guest Relations for another day in the remaining season, though a fee may apply if you switch to a more expensive day on the calendar.

Please note that all unscanned Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari tickets expire at the end of each season.

If you have multi-day Flex tickets, your second and (if applicable) third tickets still must be used within six days of the day your ticket was first scanned (if you used your first ticket on a Wednesday, the remaining ticket(s) must be used by the following Tuesday).

Your Multi-Day Flex Tickets still are only valid within seven days of the first ticket use. For example, if you used your first ticket on a Wednesday, the remaining ticket(s) must be used by the following Tuesday. Please do not use your Worry-Free Weather Guarantee tickets before using all of your Flex Tickets, as the Worry-Free Weather Guarantee applies to any day of the season, and Flex tickets are more limited.

 

Keep the ticket from the specific day you visited, and bring it back. If the Worry-Free Weather Guarantee is activated on multiple days that you’re in the park, each ticket used on a day the Guarantee was activated will be eligible for a return visit.

Yes! If you purchased a discounted Bring a Friend Ticket with your Season Pass or Platinum Season Pass, the Bring a Friend Ticket is eligible for a free return visit with the Worry-Free Weather Guarantee. 

Of course! Just keep the ticket from the day of your visit and stop by Guest Relations or Group Sales to pick up your complimentary ticket when you arrive on your next visit.

It will! Simply show us the photo on your mobile device and we’ll be able to scan it and get your complimentary ticket processed.

No, Passholders can visit most days of the season, and do not qualify for our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee. Only Guests who were visiting with a single-day or Flex ticket are eligible.

Our Worry-Free Weather Guarantee does not apply to complimentary Worry-Free Weather Guarantee tickets or to companion passes given to bus drivers or care givers. Any purchases or rentals made in the park on the date of your first visit do not qualify for reimbursement.
