Be on the first public rides of the day on Thunderbird

 

  • Available on a limited basis most public operating days.
  • Guests must be between 48″ and 78″ to ride Thunderbird.
  • Tour participants below the age of 18 must be accompanied throughout the tour by an accompanying adult (age 18+).
  • Participants must meet all attraction’s height, weight, and physical requirements in order to ride.
  • Maximum of 12 Guests per group.
  • It may be necessary for groups of six to eight Guests to separate into smaller groups and ride in separate trains/vehicles.

Get Ready to Ride

 

  • Check in at Holiday World Services by 9:45am Central on the day of your ride. (10:45am Central, Happy Halloween Weekends)
  • First Rides will typically proceed as scheduled. In case of extreme weather conditions, such as lightning, torrential rains, heavy fog, or high winds, the tour may be altered or cancelled. Inclement weather situations are addressed on an individual basis.

  • First Ride of the Day reservation payments are final and non-refundable. We will issue a partial or full credit* if you notify us of the change or cancellation far enough in advance of your reservation.

    • Credits for cancellations will be given in the form of a HoliCash Gift Card.

    • Credits for changes will be applied toward your new tour date.

    • 100% credit* for notification before 5:00pm Central two days before the reservation date.

    • 50% credit* for notification before 5:00pm Central one day before the reservation date.

    • No credit if you notify us after 5:00pm Central the day before the reservation date.
