Holiday World’s Friday Night Live! Back by Popular Demand
SANTA CLAUS, Ind. – Holiday World’s Friday Night Live! event is returning by popular demand Fridays in October and will feature Halloween in the Sky drone show. During the event, the park is open from 5 pm to 10 pm and Guests can enjoy night rides, drink specials, and live music with special Halloween flair.
“Friday Night Live! was an experiment that went remarkably well,” says Lauren Crosby, Director of Entertainment & Events and Fourth-Generation Owner. “It was so successful that we knew we had to bring it back as soon as possible. Our Guests told us it was a perfect date night, and a fun night out for families with older children. They especially loved the night rides and live music!”
Happy New Month band will be back playing each evening in the Thanksgiving section, and magician Don Baggett will be performing a special “Magic of the Night” show at the Hoosier Celebration Theater.
With the addition of Friday Night Live! dates, Holiday World’s Halloween in the Sky drone show will fly 10 shows, weather permitting. The show will feature brand-new scenes made of 500 drones. Guests who purchase tickets for Sundays during the event can enter the park after 5 pm on Saturday night to enjoy the show with the Twilight Ticket.
Happy Halloween Weekends begins this Saturday, September 21, and runs Saturdays and Sundays through the end of October. New this year is Kitty’s 3D Candy Farm walkthrough attraction. The event features the rides of Holiday World, plus special Halloween activities, including a 12-acre corn maze, hayride, Trick-or-Treat Trail for children 12 and under, special walkthrough attractions, and Halloween-themed entertainment. The event also features a special Halloween menu, including Chicken Pot Pie, Loaded Chili, BBQ Pork Bowl, Goblin Fingers (deep fried pickle spears), S’mores Funnel Cake, Granny’s Cinnamon Roll Latte, S’mores Crunch Frappe, and so much more!
“You may not think of Santa Claus, Indiana as a Halloween destination, but we are,” adds Crosby. “Between Friday Night Live! and Happy Halloween Weekends, weekends in October are the perfect time to visit and make a mini vacation of it!”
Tickets for Friday Night Live! are $30 at the front gate or $25 if purchased online.
