Holiday World Unveils Tasting Menu for Summer Wine’d Down Festival
SANTA CLAUS, IND.— The new menu for Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival is now available. The park has released an Event Guide, which provides the 30 new event-exclusive menu items and where to find them, along with wine pairing suggestions. Summer Wine’d Down will run daily from August 4 through August 17 and weekends from August 21 through September 13.
A few of the 30 newly-announced, event-exclusive small bites include:
- Monster Mash – Goblin Burger
- Crispy french fries and garlic cheese curds, with bacon onion marmalade, and jalapeño slices
- Starry & Stripes Fizz – Lemon Shake Ups
- Starry soda with strawberry purée topped with gummy “Freedom Rings”
- Charcuterie Box – Santa’s Merry Marketplace
- Salami, cherry tomatoes, cheese cubes, olives, crackers, and grapes
- Broccoli Cheese Bread Bowl – Plymouth Rock Café
- Creamy broccoli cheese soup served in a toasted bread bowl
- Pina Colada Funnel Cake – Bahari Snacks
- Toasted coconut, pineapple, whipped cream, and powdered sugar
The event is included with regular park admission. Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari rides, slides, and entertainment will continue to operate. Guests can purchase a Tasting Pass online or in select locations throughout the parks to enjoy five event-exclusive items at a great value, or purchase any of the new items a la carte.
“Students are returning to school soon, but that doesn’t mean that summer fun comes to a stop,” says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications. “There’s still so much time for fun left on the calendar! This event is great for families of all ages—as well as couples looking for a summer outing or friends planning a girls’ weekend.
Full details will be released soon for a new evening event called Thursday Night Bites. The event will be held August 21 & 28 from 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM and will include select Holiday World attractions and restaurants. Event tickets will include one free Summer Wine’d Down exclusive menu item.
Holiday World’s special event lineup for fall is just beginning. Friday Night Live! returns to Holiday World in 2025 with extended dates, bringing live music, drink specials, and night rides every Friday from August 22 through October 24. Happy Halloween Weekends returns September 20 and runs through October 26, featuring extended hours on October 11, 18, and 25. Both parks are open daily through August 17; Splashin’ Safari closes September 13, and Holiday World closes November 2.
