Coasting for Kids 2020
Since 2014, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has donated the proceeds of our HoliWood Nights auction to Give Kids the World. This year we are VERY excited to help raise more funds for the incredible organization by hosting a Coasting for Kids event on Saturday, August 29!
What is Coasting for Kids?
The concept is simple! After registering online, participants enjoy a day at Holiday World and by doing so they give that same excitement and families who need it most! Coasting for Kids events help the Give Kids the World Village provide cost-free, weeklong vacations to critically ill kids and their families.
The Village and its community partners provide children and their families accommodations in fully-furnished villas, transportation, tickets to theme parks, meals, daily entertainment and much more. Families enjoy the magic of Central Florida’s theme parks and attractions while staying at a storybook resort unlike anyplace on earth!
What will the event look like at Holiday World?
8am: Registration Opens
8:45am: Award ceremony for top individual and top team fundraiser
8:55am: Socially distanced group photo
9am: Exclusive ride access on Thunderbird, Turkey Whirl, Gobbler Getaway and Voyage
10am: Exclusive ride access on Cheetah Chase
10:30am: Guests mix into the park for the rest of the day
As of Wednesday, August 19 we’ve raised $6.1K dollars of our $10,000 goal!

Want to help us make dreams a reality for kids and their families?
There are a few options on how to join in on the fun!
If you’d like to register you can do so as an individual, join a team, or create a team.
Individuals are asked to commit to raising $100 by August 29 to participate as a rider alumni family rider.
For 2020, our Coasting for Kids event coincides with our HoliWood kNight Coaster event.
HoliWood kNight participants can join the fun as well by pledging to raise $50.
For those unable to attend, you can support Give Kids The World from home by participating in the Virtual Coasting For Kids option. With a goal of only $50, we will mail you the 2020 Coasting For Kids Shirt as well as some other branded Coasting For Kids items from previous years.
We hope you’ll join in the fun and help us send as many families as possible to the Give Kids the World Village!
