Design Competition

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari will celebrate 80 years of family fun in 2026! To honor this occasion, we are launching an art contest to inspire the 2026 Souvenir cups sold in the parks.

How to Enter

The contest commences on Monday, November 17, 2025. Entries may be submitted between Monday, November 17, 2025 and Monday, December 15, 2025.

• Fill out and submit application information via the form below.
• Artwork must be drawn by hand or digitally and submitted via digital upload on this template.
• Once artwork is submitted, it is considered a final submission and may not be modified, edited or replaced.
• Only one entry is allowed per participant.
• Entries must be an original work of the contestant.
• Participation in this contest is deemed as acceptance of these Official Contest Rules.

Content Requirements

• Submissions must be original content created by the participant and must not contain any elements that are protected by someone else’s copyright or otherwise subject to third-party intellectual property or proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights.
• Koch Development Corporation dba Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari (KDC) reserves the right to disqualify, at their sole and absolute discretion, any submission that does not adhere to these criteria and to the intent and substance of these Official Contest Rules
• In the event of any question or difference of views regarding compliance with, interpretation, or application of these content requirements or other provisions of these Official Contest Rules, KDC reserves the exclusive right to resolve such questions or differences of views at their sole discretion.

Technical Format Requirements

• Artwork must be submitted in jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, heic, or heif format, maximum size of 9 MB using the provided template. A smartphone photo will be sufficient.
• Submissions should not have any visible signatures or personally identifiable information.

Eligibility

• Parental or legal guardian consent is required for participants under 18 years old. Contestants must be residents of the United States and must live in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, or Missouri.
• The individual submitting the entry will be considered the participant and will be the only individual eligible to compete for the prize. Organizations are not eligible to compete for the prize, either as an entity or through representation by an individual. In order to be eligible for the prize, the participant must provide complete and accurate information.
• Children of Koch Development Corporation employees cannot participate in this competition.

Selection of Winners

All artwork is subject to pre-screening by KDC to ensure compliance with these Official Contest Rules. Any artwork out of compliance will not be considered. KDC reserves the right in their sole and absolute discretion to verify in the final analysis whether a potential finalist or potential winning submission has fully complied with these Official Contest Rules before awarding prize, recognizing a winner, etc.

Judges

The contest jury is comprised of Koch Development Corporation staff.

Judging Criteria

• Artwork should explore the theme of an 80^th Anniversary, Birthday, or Celebration.
• Judges will award points for creativity, originality, and based on how thoughtfully the artist incorporates the theme into their artwork.

Selection of Winners

Winner(s) will be contacted via email at the email address provided on the below form. The inability of KDC to contact a potential winner may result in disqualification and/or selection of an alternate winner from among all remaining eligible submissions.

Prizes

• The three (3) winners will be chosen by the KDC staff and the selected winners will each receive two (2) Season Passes to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari valid for the 2026 season. Season Passes cannot be resold and are not transferrable.
• Winning artwork may be displayed on Holiday World’s website, social media platforms, and/or at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.
• Winners will be notified via email by December 19, 2025, and must confirm the acceptance of the prize in an email reply within three calendar days. If the acceptance is not confirmed by the required date, KDC reserves the right to select an alternate winner. Each winner must provide a valid physical U.S. mailing address where the season passes will be sent, as well as the full name and birthdate of the recipients. One recipient must be the participant.
