HOLIDAY WORLD ON 'THE TRAVEL CHANNEL' FRIDAY SANTA CLAUS, IN-----Holiday World & Splashin' Safari will be featured this week as part of The Travel Channel's "Great Family Vacations Week" series.
The one-hour show, called Best of Amusement Parks 2006, will feature top parks from around the world. The program will highlight the winning parks of the most recent Golden Ticket Awards, presented annually by Amusement Today magazine.

This is the third time Holiday World & Splashin' Safari have been on The Travel Channel, which has 30 million satellite and cable subscribers. This spring, the parks will also be featured on The Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel.
A crew from The Travel Channel will visit Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in August when the park hosts this year's Golden Ticket Awards ceremony. The results of the annual readers' poll will be the basis of next spring's Best of Amusement Parks 2007 special.
Holiday World, the world's first theme park, will begin its 60th Anniversary Season on May 6, with the premiere of The Voyage wooden roller coaster.
