Employee Transportation Program

Our Hosts & Hostesses now have the option of "taking the bus" to work for a nominal fee. (Current employees: Please see page 14 in the Host & Hostess Handbook for information about accessing the Employee Tranportation Schedule.)

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • How old must I be to work at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari?
    You must be at least 14 years old to apply to work at the parks. Many positions have additional age requirements; for example you must be at least 15 years old to be a lifeguard and at least 16 years old to be a ride operator or slide attendant.   • I want to be a lifeguard...do I need to be certified ahead of time?
    No, we completely train all of our lifeguards.
  • I'm an adult with a full-time job but would like to pick up some weekend hours. Do you hire part-time seasonal help?
    Sure! We're looking for friendly people of all ages to work at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. If you can only work weekends, be sure to include that information on your job application.
  • I want to be in your shows—when are auditions?
    Auditions for Holiday World's 2009 musical shows were held in December and January. Please click here for more details.

Raise money for your non-profit with our FunRaiser "volunteers" program:

Over the past several years, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari have contributed more than $130,000 to non-profits whose members have volunteered to work at the parks in return for a donation. Past FunRaiser participants include church groups, youth groups, softball teams, Relay for Life teams, choirs, cheerleader squads, and many more.
